During our recent family vacation, we stayed at a hotel in central Newcastle. The location was excellent, with convenient access to the Gate entertainment complex, which became a family highlight. We enjoyed a fun night out at the cinema, making cherished memories together. The room had essential amenities, including a fridge and microwave, which made dining easier with young children. We encountered significant safety concerns. The steep stairs leading to our room, particularly the last flight without a railing, were unsettling. Communication issues arose, as the staff didn't reply despite being advertised as available 24 hours. Our experience was disappointing. While the hotel suited our basic needs, it lacked the family-friendly atmosphere we sought, making it difficult to recommend for those traveling with kids.
